Hidden Road Teams Up with Bitfinex Amid Bybit KYC Troubles
Hidden Road, a prime brokerage that has the backing of the American market maker Citadel Securities, is amplifying institutional engagement with digital assets by collaborating with Bitfinex. On June 13, Bitfinex announced it would be integrating with Hidden Road, enhancing the brokerage’s institutional services with newly added digital assets and sophisticated security tools.
This partnership will allow Bitfinex to bolster Hidden Road’s offerings, which include services such as derivatives trading, spot trading, peer-to-peer financing, over-the-counter (OTC) trading, margin trading, and others. The integration promises to elevate the capabilities available to Hidden Road’s clientele.
Bitfinex itself is operated by iFinex, the same entity owning Tether, the largest stablecoin issuer globally. Both companies share a chief technology officer, Paolo Ardoino, emphasizing a close operational relationship. According to Bitfinex’s head of business development, Bill Brindise, Bitfinex is committed to delivering state-of-the-art trading features, extensive liquidity, and a diverse array of trading pairs, all underpinned by a secure infrastructure.
Brindise expressed confidence that Hidden Road’s clients would benefit greatly from exploring Bitfinex’s wide range of products designed to assist institutional and professional investors in accessing digital assets.
