KSI Accused of Pump-and-Dump by ZachXBT and Coffeezilla

Popular YouTuber and internet celebrity Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, also known as “KSI,” is facing pump-and-dump allegations from crypto investigators ZachXBT and Coffeezilla. These allegations arose after KSI reopened his old crypto-focused account on X, a social media platform. Upon reviving the account, KSI shared a post to test the waters with his 371,000 followers. Shortly after, crypto investigator ZachXBT criticized KSI, claiming that he would start “sharing garbage again.” ZachXBT backed up his statement by sharing a screenshot of KSI’s post about investing in the XCAD Network (XCAD) and another screenshot showing KSI’s wallet selling $850,000 worth of XCAD tokens.

ZachXBT provided evidence of KSI’s past behavior, where he would promote tokens and then sell them shortly after. For example, in 2021, KSI expressed enthusiasm for the nonfungible token (NFT) project Ethernity Chain (ERN). Blockchain data revealed that he sold around $350,000 in ERN tokens just hours later. YouTuber Coffeezilla, in a follow-up video, shared KSI’s statements on the matter. Despite the evidence, KSI defended himself, stating that he still holds some XCAD tokens and continues to believe in the project’s potential to generate earnings through content consumption. He claimed that he sold XCAD to invest in the collapsed Terra Luna Classic (LUNC), formerly known as LUNA. KSI admitted being new to the crypto world and emphasized his lack of malicious intent.

Coffeezilla countered KSI’s defense, arguing that publicly making positive statements while privately engaging in selling activity is the very definition of a pump and dump scheme. Coffeezilla doubted KSI’s claim of not understanding the potential impact of his tweets on token prices, suggesting that KSI intentionally manipulated the market. Despite the outcome of the allegations, Coffeezilla believed that KSI’s actions were indeed a pump and dump scheme.

It is worth noting that KSI is also closely associated with YouTuber Logan Paul, who is embroiled in a crypto-related controversy of his own. Paul is currently facing a class-action lawsuit related to the sale of an NFT collection called CryptoZoo, which promised the release of a play-to-earn game but never followed through. In an attempt to rectify the situation, Paul offered to refund investors if they agreed to waive any current or future legal claims against him.

  1. Pump and dump schemes undermine the potential of blockchain technology. Let’s focus on genuine innovation and value creation. 💡

  2. I can’t believe KSI would stoop this low. He’s lost all credibility in my eyes.

  3. Regardless of the outcome, let’s remember that everyone makes mistakes. It’s important to learn from them and grow.
